Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation will be holding Art & Craft Workshops for patients with blood cancer or blood disorder which will be conducted by Mr. Patrick Yee from December 2011. The workshops will be conducted once per week either on Wednesday evening or Friday evening (to be confirmed), two hours per workshop.
We hope that the Art & Craft Workshops will achieve the below stated goals/objectives.
ð To enhance the confidence of our beneficiaries through the display of their talents
ð To provide an alternative method for participants to express their emotions
ð To provide a platform for beneficiaries to discover and/or display their artistic talents
ð To work hand-in-hand with Teddy Bear Making Workshops (in-house) to raise funds and create awareness of haematological cancers or disorders through auctions or collaborations with schools
ð To hold exhibitions and/or auctions to raise funds to support activities, outings etc. for our beneficiaries and their family members / caregivers
